Pets At Home Salisbury

Pet owners in Salisbury have a number of pet shops to choose from from small independents to the huge chain stores. In this article I thought I would look at the most well known pet shop across the UK, namely Pets At Home and specifically the Salisbury branch.

Like other branches of Pets At Home, Salisbury is located on a retail park which means lots of free parking and a large store that can stock a wide range of products. Indeed you should be able to find what you want in a Pets At Home store regardless of whether you have a dog, cat, small mammals, reptiles or indeed fish. They also sell some pets like Rabbits, Guinea Pigs and fish but personally I’m uneasy about buying animals from a pet shop. Being a large chain they also operate a loyalty scheme known as VIP which has a range of different benefits.

Pets At Home Salisbury Opening Times

The Pets At Home Salisbury branch is much like their other branches in terms of size, stock levels and long opening times. Being open 7 days a week and for longer hours in the week means even those with busy 9-5 jobs can still visit before they close. The listed opening times are:

Monday – Saturday 9AM-7PM
Sunday 10AM-4PM

The location of this branch is to the east of the town centre on Bourne Retail Park. The full address and phone number is as follows:

Unit 2a Bourne Way Roundabout, Southampton Road, Salisbury SP1 2LB. Telephone 0345 600 8784.

Like many other Pets At Home branches the Salisbury branch also has a Vets for Pets service inside but it should be noted the vets operate using different opening hours, namely 9AM-6:30PM Monday to Friday, 9AM-3PM Saturday and closed Sunday. The direct phone number for the vets is 01722 328 380.

Unlike some other Pets At Home branches, the Salisbury branch does not have a grooming service in store. The nearest branch that offers grooming seems to be Andover.

Pets At Home Salisbury Reviews

Looking at the reviews for Pets At Home Salisbury they are mostly very positive. Most of the positive reviews make mention of the staff which is a good sign and something that is usually more typical with small independent pet shops. A few reviews also mention keen pricing. It’s probably true that a large chain with greater buying power can undercut a small local pet shop but it’s also true that buying online is often cheaper again since they don’t have the same overheads as retail shops.
